How to Play

Change your bet by selecting an amount using the Bet Console in the lower left and right corner of the screen. Select the amount to bet by choosing one of the chips on the bet panel.

If you raise the amount higher than your current balance permits, your bet will not be placed. In this case, either increase your balance by depositing funds, or reduce your bet. The bet limit is based on the table selected.

PLACING BETS

Each time you left-click on the chips at the lower left corner the amount of your wager is increased by that amount, and each time you left-click on the chips at the lower right corner the amount of your wager is decreased by that amount.

STARTING THE DEAL

A minimum bet of $1 is required to start the deal. If the total bet placed on the table is at least the required minimum, the DEAL button will light up, indicating that you may click it to start the deal. Once the DEAL button is clicked, bets can no longer be changed or removed, and the game begins with the initial deal.

If you haven't placed any bets on the table before clicking DEAL, the current bet amount displayed in the Bet Console will automatically be placed on the table and the game will begin. This allows to you start a new game quickly by just clicking the DEAL button again. If you have sufficient funds, the game will begin using the same bet made in the previous game.

PLAYING THE GAME

The player uses the buttons in the bottom of the screen to make his or her decisions when playing the game. Buttons will "light up" when you have to option to click them. Your mouse pointer will also change to a pointing hand as you move your pointer over any button that you are allowed to click.

Once the player has a hand dealt, he or she must move what they feel the lower hand is to the LOW CARD HAND and keep the higher hand in the HIGH CARD HAND. Cards can be moved between hands by click on them. When the player is satisfied with their hands, he or she must click PLAY.

Rules

Play begins by making a wager. Next everyone receives seven cards. The player then arranges his or herseven cards into a five-card hand and a two-card hand. The five-card hand is ranked as in poker, with the exception that an A-2-3-4-5 straight is the second highest straight. The two-card hand will either be a pair or two individual cards. The highest two-card hand is a pair of aces and the lowest is a 2-3.

After the player has arranged his or her hand the banker arranges theirs according to a set of fixed rules known as the "house way." Then the player's five-card hand is compared to the dealer's five-card hand. Likewise the player's two-card hand is compared to the dealer's two-card hand. The highest hand wins. In the event of an exact match between hands, called a copy, the tie goes to the banker. If the player beats the dealer with both hands the player wins even money, less a 5% commission. If the player wins one and loses one the bet is a push. If the player loses both the player loses the entire wager.

When setting the hands the two-card hand may not be higher then the five-card hand. If it is then both hands are deemed "foul" and both lose. The joker can only be used to complete a straight, flush, or straight flush, otherwise it is treated as an ace.

The House Way

The "LOW CARD " refers to the two card hand and the "HIGH CARD" refers to the five card hand.

  • No pair: Place the second and third highest cards in the front.

  • One pair: Place the two highest singletons in the front.

  • Two pair: Use the following groups to determine how to play a two pair:

    2 through 6: Low pair
    7 through 10: Medium pairs
    Jack through king: High pairs

Low pair and low pair or low pair and medium pair: Split pairs unless holding a king singleton or better.
Low pair and high pair or medium pair and medium pair: Split pairs unless holding an ace singleton.
Medium pair and high pair or high pair and high pair: Always split.
Pair of aces and any other pair: Always split.

  • Three pair: Play highest pair in front.

  • Three of a kind: Play three of a kind in back unless they are aces, then play a pair of aces in back and one ace in front.

  • Three of a kind twice: Play a pair from the higher three of a kind in front.

  • Straights, flushes, straight flushes, and royal flush:

With no pair or one pair: Play the highest hand possible in front while maintaining at least a straight in the back.
With two pair: Use two pair rule.
With three pair: Use three pair rule.
With three of a kind: Play pair in front.
With full house: Use full house rule.

  • Full house: Play pair in front.

  • Full house with three of a kind and two pairs: Play the highest pair in front.

  • Four of a kind: Play according to the rank of the four of a kind:

2 through 6: Always keep together.
7 through 10: Split unless an ace can be played in front.
    Jack through ace: Always split.

  • Four of a kind and a pair: Play pair in front.

  • Four of a kind and three of a kind: Play pair in front from the three of a kind.

  • Five aces: Play pair of aces in front unless a pair of kings can be played in front.
